My Favorite Small Purchases of 2025
Here's my favorite purchases of the year under $35 that made everyday life easier. From small tools to beauty and self-care items. Simple finds, low cost, big payoff.
If I could, I would invite you all over to a “My Favorite Things” party… but I don’t think you’d all fit in my living room. So we’re doing this party virtually!
I’m sharing a few of my favorite little things from 2025 —things I use almost every day and items I truly love having in our home (and workshop). No filler. These are mostly small everyday items under $35. Just good stuff I’d buy again and again.
This favorite purchases of the year post contains affiliate links, but nothing that I wouldn’t wholeheartedly recommend anyway! Read my full disclosure here.
Why I love these…
I don’t love recommending things just to recommend them. Everything on my list of favorite purchases of the year are things I’ve used and would 100% buy again. No brown paper packages tied up with string here — just a few favorite things I actually use and love.
My Favorite Things For The Kitchen
- Pure Vanilla Bean Paste: You’ll never go back to regular Vanilla extract after baking with this!
- Brown Sugar Bear: Tired of your brown sugar getting rock hard? This magical little bear will keep it soft!
- Dishwasher Magnetic Sign: No more wondering if the dishes are clean or dirty inside the dishwasher.
- My Favorite Oven Mitts: These are the only oven mitts I’ve been able to find with the snap loop, so I can keep them hanging on the bar of our oven. They quickly pull off when cooking, when you need them in a pinch.
My Favorite Beauty & Self-Care Products
- Concealer: I’ve been using this concealer for a few years now, and it’s a keeper. It’s great for the under eyes.
- Makeup Remover Face Cloths: These soft, reusable makeup remover cloths are life-changing. If you don’t need cleansers, just water.
- Lip Sleeping Mask: I know, a sleeping mask for your lips. It sounds silly, but I use it every night, and I never need to reach for Chapstick anymore.
- Facial Toner: This smells great and is super refreshing. I use some on a cotton ball all over my face after I wash it (with the above-linked cloths)
- Honorable Mention: Dry Shampoo: For those days when you can’t fit in a shower, a little spritz of this will leave your hair refreshed (and a bonus that it smells amazing).
My Favorite Small Tools for DIYs
- Stud Finder: This stud finder has it all… magnetic so it instantly sticks to the metal nails & screws in the studs, a bubble level built-in, and a laser to show you exactly where the stud is.
- Utility Knife: Our favorite utility knife that makes its way into just about every DIY project we take on.
- Adhesive Tile Mat: This cuts your time WAY down when you’re tiling. No more waiting for the thinset mortar to dry. Here’s a blog post all about how to use the tile mat.
- Panel Carrier: This makes carrying a sheet of plywood or drywall super easy!
My Favorite Products for Little Life Hacks
- Dishwashing Brush: Just push this little circular brush into the dispenser to load it up with more dish soap. I can’t imagine doing dishes without it.
- Coffee Cup Warmer: No more microwaving your coffee 843904 times a day. I use this little guy every single day when working on my computer.
- Matching Hangers: It seems silly, but this is surprisingly satisfying. I’ve swapped out every single hanger in our house to these. These save a ton of space. I specifically went for a non-velvet option because I can’t stand when little fuzzies (or dog hair) get stuck to the velvet.
- Backseat Car Organizer: Kids make you give up all hopes and dreams of ever having a clean car again, but this organizer helps a bit!
It was so quick and easy for me to put together this list of my favorite purchases of the year, so I hope you enjoyed it! Who knows? Maybe you’ll find one of your favorite new things on this list!
