  1. These are great ideas! We love recycling pallets and made a wonderful chicken coop using them. Unfortunately I never got around to posting about it. Someday I will! I do use the “photo studio” made from pallets all of the time, though. Thanks so much for sharing it. 🙂

  2. Love these ideas! Was wondering what you would suggest when making a type of screen to keep an unsightly scene my neighbor has on the side of her house, using pallets. I need it to be a little over 6′ tall and was wondering how to stack pallets so they would be secure and what would one need for posts to secure them to the ground? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks so much and appreciate you ideas so much!

    1. That’s a great idea for a privacy screen. I would probably recommend using pressure treated 4×4 posts (like you would use when building a fence). You would want to put those into the ground in a hole with cement. About 1/3 of the post should be in the ground (ie 8 foot post, 2 feet need to be in the ground). Once your posts are in and set, you could attach the pallets to those. For more details you can look up how to build a fence online and just put on pallets rather than fence boards. Good luck with your project Betty!
